WHAT WE'RE ABOUT
Eugene Vineyard Church is a community that is committed to love God and each other well. We are a multi-ethnic, multi-generational church that loves diversity and welcomes everyone. Our mission statement is simple:
Love Jesus. Love others. That's all.
LOVING GOD AND LOVING OTHERS
Jesus said the greatest commandment was to "...love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength." Then he said the second was just as important: "Love your neighbor as yourself." (Mark 12:30-21)
At EVC, everything we do is in response to our love for God and our desire to love others. When we sing songs, we are inviting God's presence to come, we are thanking Him for His incredible goodness, and we are singing our prayers to Him as a church family. We always study the Bible because we want to know God more and understand how His Word is relevant to our lives. We pray together and for each other because we know communication is important in all relationships, even our relationship with God. Plus, we believe God wants to bless us, heal us, and intervene in our lives. And, of course, we drink coffee and tea together because we want to get to know each other, build friendships, and grow to be a family that supports one another.
If you come to our church not sure what you believe about God, it is perfectly fine to express doubts and questions. We love authenticity and you are welcome to participate as you feel comfortable.
LOVING OUR COMMUNITY
Eugene Vineyard Church is also passionate about loving our community. We look for opportunities to serve, sometimes partnering up with other organizations to meet practical needs in our community such as the One Hope Network (onehopenetwork.org) and Love INC (loveinclanecounty.com).
